The League Cup has been a rugby cup competition for German Bundesliga club teams that has been held since 1983 (formerly to determine the promoted and relegated teams in the 2nd Bundesliga). The League Cup is the second most important cup competition in the national 15-man rugby sport in Germany after the DRV Cup .

The teams eliminated in the first and second preliminary round of the DRV-Pokal play in the league cup.
League Cup
The pairings are drawn and all games are knockout games. In the further course of the eighth, quarter and semi-finals and at the end the final will be played. The winner of the final is the league cup winner.
