Lilija Pandurova ( Bulgarian Лилия Пандурова , English transcription Liliya Pandurova ; born January 21, 1987 in Plovdiv ) is a Bulgarian biathlete .

Lilia Pandurova lives in Chepelare and trains in Smolyan . The sports teacher starts for the sports club in her hometown and is supervised by Borislaw Chadschiew. She started biathlon in 1998 and has been a member of the Bulgarian national team since 2001. Between 2002 and 2008 she took part in six biathlon junior world championships , which only a few other athletes achieved. She achieved her best results here at the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle , where she was 25th of the individual, 37th of the sprint and 38th of the pursuit. In his other individual races, she consistently achieved placements in the 40s and 50s ranks. In 2007, in his home town of Bansko , Pandurova started the only time in junior races at the European Biathlon Championships . In the individual races, she achieved comparatively good results with 23rd place in the individual and 21st place in sprint and pursuit. With Silwija Georgiewa and Raliza Galewa she also won the bronze medal in the relay race.

In 2007 in Obertilliach , Pandurowa competed in her first races for women in the performance area as part of the European Cup, which later became the IBU Cup . in her first individual she was 50. Shortly afterwards she won first points in Bansko with a ninth place in the sprint and tenth in the pursuit race and also achieved her first top ten results. The best place in the racing series was a seventh place in the pursuit race, also in 2009 in Bansko. The first international championship for women was the 2008 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Bansko, where Pandurova finished 12th in the sprint with four shooting errors and tenth in the mass start race with ten errors. In the mixed relay race, she narrowly missed a medal as a starting runner with Iwa Slateschka , Miroslaw Kenanow and Ilijan Penew in fourth place. In the 2008/09 season , Pandurowa competed in a sprint in Hochfilzen, her first race in the Biathlon World Cup and was 101.
