The Dachige beach Lilac ( Limonium imbricatum ) is a plant from the genus of the beach Lilac ( Limonium ) in the family of plumbaginaceae (Plumbaginaceae).

features

The roofy sea lavender is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 10 to 30 centimeters. The leaves are elongated, densely pubescent and partially pinnate overlapping similar to roof tiles. The stem and inflorescence stalks are broadly winged. The appendages of the flowering branches are blunt. The cup is purple and has a wide border. The petals are white.

The flowering period extends from February to June.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 14.

Occurrence

The roofy sea lavender occurs on the Canary Islands Tenerife and La Palma on coastal rocks.
