Lina Stančiūtė (born February 7, 1986 in Vilnius , Soviet Union ) is a former Lithuanian tennis player .

Career

Stančiūtė began tennis at the age of eight and preferred to play on clay courts, according to the ITF profile. She won four singles and three doubles titles at ITF Women's World Tennis Tour tournaments.

In the years 2000 to 2015 she competed 46 times for the Lithuanian Fed Cup team and won 37 of her 68 matches, 26 of them in singles and eleven in doubles.

From 2007 to 2015 she played in the first and 2015 in the second tennis Bundesliga for TEC Waldau Stuttgart from 2007 to 2014 .

In 2015 Stančiūtė announced her retirement from professional tennis.
