The Lincoln Mark LT is a full-size pickup truck from the premium brand Lincoln, which belongs to Ford. The Mark LT was introduced to the American and Canadian markets for the 2005 model year and was the successor to the Lincoln Blackwood , which was only available in the 2002 model year due to poor sales figures. In contrast to the Blackwood, the Mark LT sold relatively well. It was technically related to the Ford F-150 . Its curb weight is given as 2379-2593 kg.
The Mark LT was priced at US $ 43,495 and was expected to sell approximately 13,000 per year. This price is significantly lower than that of the Escalade EXT from its main competitor Cadillac. The Mark LT was one of the most discounted cars in the United States, with some dealerships selling it for over $ 10,000 below the suggested retail price. The Mark LT was offered with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. The only available engine was a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine with 265 kW (360 hp). It was made in the River Rouge Plant in Dearborn , Michigan, where the Ford F-150 also comes off the assembly line.
The Mark LT was always at least twice sold since its launch as good as the Escalade EXT, but the sales from 2007 fell to model year 2009, the Mark LT is set in the US and Canada and a better-equipped version of the Ford F-150 named Platinum replaced. In Mexico, the Mark LT was still available until 2014 for the equivalent of around EUR 40,000.
