The Lincoln series , unofficially called the Lincoln Standard , were luxury cars manufactured by Lincoln in the 1946-1951 model years .

Year by year

66H Series (1946)

After the Second World War , the V12 Lincoln models were reissued without major changes. The more simply equipped series was sold under the name Lincoln , while the more luxurious version was called Continental . There was a four-door sedan, a two-door club coupé and a two-door convertible. The wheelbase of the chassis was 3175 mm, the total length 5486 mm.

Like the more luxurious sister models, the Lincoln series had a side-controlled V12 engine with 4498 cc displacement, the 130 bhp (96 kW) at a speed of 3600 / min. developed. The engine power was passed on to the rear wheels via a manual three-speed gearbox (with overdrive if required ).

Series 9EL (1949)

In April 1948, the first pontoon models were introduced as the 1949 model. The fenders were now integrated into the body of the car, the radiator grille extended over the entire width of the vehicle.
