Linda Neutral light detergent

Linda is a brand for a detergent of the detergent Linda GmbH & Co. KG in Schwerin . The best- known product is Linda Neutral , a paste-like special detergent for the low temperature range.

The work emerged from the cosmetics wholesaler Emil Dünfründ , which was once located in Schwerin on Cecilienallee (today Schloßgartenallee ). After the end of the war, the premises came into the possession of the Soviet occupiers. The company Chemische Fabrik Emil Dünfründ GmbH initially moved to Gadebusch , but in 1948 found a company headquarters on a barracks site in Schwerin Werdervorstadt . After the state government at that time gave notice to these premises, Dünfründ moved to the western part of Germany in 1949. In his absence, a trial was brought against him, in which he was sentenced to eight years in prison for speculative crimes and his property was stripped from him. He was also accused of evading taxes.

After all, from 1951 the factory was continued as a state-owned company in the Schwerin district of Zippendorf on the site of the former Mecklenburg stove and oven works, where around 70 people found work in 1953 and, among other things, produced cosmetic products. Production of the washing paste Linda Neutral , developed by chemist Gau from Schwerin and known and valued throughout the GDR , began in 1954, of which 20 tons were sold in the first year of production and 1700 tons in 1964.

Since 1981 the Linda plant was part of a combine to which eight other companies belonged. After the political change, the state-owned company was taken over in a management buy-out in 1993 by the last director of the combine Günther Deichmann and his chief mechanic Peter Willöper and transferred to a LINDA Waschmittel GmbH.

The company has been producing in the newly built factory in the Wüstmark district since 1994 .

The product range includes pasty and liquid detergents, cleaners and hand cleaners for private and commercial use.

In autumn 2006, the business was sold to the Egeln entrepreneur Ulf Heyer, who, together with the chemist Frank Giesel from Baek near Perleberg , was managing director as LINDA Waschmittel GmbH & Co KG. In spring 2007 the Bremerhaven- based company Friedrich W. Derkum, Chemische Fabrik und Handelsgesellschaft mbH and in 2008 the "GERMANIA-Drogerie ZINKE", Bremen, under the same management and the same management company, LIV GmbH (Linda Industrieverwaltungs GmbH), became sister companies of Linda . Since Frank Giesel's departure, Ulf Heyer has headed the group and in 2014 appointed Guido Hagelstede as the location manager of the Bremerhaven company Derkum.
