Linda Moroziuk

Linda Moroziuk (* in Montreal ) is a Canadian singer and songwriter . She performs under the name Linda M on.

She began her musical career as the singer of the folk rock band Holly Go Lightly , which released an album in 1997 under the title Means in your possession . Linda M sold more than 1,000 copies of her album Bliss machine , released in 2000, at concerts. Several of her songs were bought by Warner Brothers and the song Didn't want to wake you up was used in an episode of the television series Dawson's Creek . She has supported artists such as Ani DiFranco , Natalie Merchant , Kristin Hersh , Macy Gray , Don Henley and Lyle Lovett .

In 2001 she founded the Girls with guitars project , with which she performed regularly in Toronto with various other North American musicians . In 2004 she released her second album with the support of the Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent On Record . In addition, songs by her can be found on compilations , e.g. B.
