The Lindeberg is a 460 meter high elevation in the eastern Lusatian mountains in the Free State of Saxony . It lies on the territory of the municipality Hainewalde in the southern part of the Hofebuschs and thus part of the conservation area Mandautal . To the south lies the 397 meter high Wiedeberg.

The top of the Lindeberg consists of slightly inclined phonolite columns that broke through the Seifhennersdorf basalt cover here in the Tertiary . This rock used to be mined here, but the quarry is no longer used today.

Thanks to intensive forestry, the mountain is now largely covered by spruce , only a few birches or other deciduous trees can be found . In April 2012 there was a one-hectare conservation fire here , but it was extinguished by a cross-border fire service by the Großschönau and Varnsdorf fire services .
