Lindloh is a small village and part of the village region of Rütenbrock in the town of Haren (Ems) on the Dutch border in the Emsland district of Lower Saxony . There used to be a raised bog here . The village has 789 inhabitants. Mass is held once a month in a small chapel.

The Moor colony Lindloh was in the same period in 1788 as the settlements Rütenbrock and Schwartenberg (Haren) founded.
