Geography and transport links
The place is north of the core area of Haren directly on the east running state road L 48. The A 31 runs west and the B 408 south.
The Ems flows east.
Attractions
- The Catholic Chapel of St. Laurentius was built in 1960. It is a copy of a half-timbered church from 1686.
- The Haus Landegge moated castle , a three-wing, single-storey brick building , dates from the end of the 17th century. The old division into the outer and core of the castle has been preserved. The Landegge house is a manor house that was built in 1695 for Wilhelm Diedrich von Schade . After 1756 the owners changed frequently. Today the manor houses a holiday and riding facility. Of the Landegge Abbey Castle, built around 1178, only the castle hill remained. The Knights of Langen served as castle men at this castle .
