The Lindwurmteich is a small body of still water in Nieder-Beerbach , part of the municipality of Mühltal in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district in Hesse .

The Lindwurmteich is located on the eastern slope of the Frankenstein massif or on the western edge of Nieder-Beerbach. The pond is geologically in the northern Odenwald in the granite area of the Geo-Naturpark Bergstrasse-Odenwald . The landscape corresponds to the typical hilly landscape of the Vorderen Odenwald .

The pond is approximately oval and has a length of approx. 20 m and a width of approx. 10 m. The circumference is approx. 60 m.

The lindworm pond is located in a former quarry . The pond is fed by a small waterfall. The pond is drained via the Beerbach .
