The Linon is a river in France that runs in the Brittany region . It rises in the municipality of Trémeheuc , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Rance after 37 kilometers in the municipality of Évran as a right tributary . On its last kilometers it runs parallel to the Canal d'Ille-et-Rance and contributes to the water supply of the canal. On its way, the Linon crosses the Ille-et-Vilaine and Côtes-d'Armor departments .
