The Lion is a small river in France that runs in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Ségny and Ornex , generally drains in a south-westerly direction through the Pays de Gex landscape and after ten kilometers flows into the municipality of Saint-Genis-Pouilly , a few hundred meters from the border with Switzerland , as a left tributary into the Allondon .
