Lisa Sommerfeldt

Lisa Sommerfeldt (* 1976 in Munich ) is a German-speaking actress and playwright .

life and career

After the Abitur studied Sommerfeldt modern German literature, history and philosophy in Berlin and Munich before 1998 to 2002 her acting studies at the Folkwang School in Essen graduated with diploma completed. During her studies she stood in front of the camera for various roles and played in various theaters. During this time she also won several prizes for her acting performance, including one of the ensemble prizes at the drama school meeting in Potsdam . After completing her studies, Sommerfeldt concentrated on speaking activities, for example for the WDR radio stations, Deutsche Welle and Bayerischer Rundfunk .

Since 2004, Sommerfeldt has been known to a wider television audience as Esther from the comedy series Pastewka .

Lisa Sommerfeldt is a freelance writer and writes plays and radio plays, a. a. Commissioned work such as “Dorfdisco” for the cultural foundation of Landestheater Eisenach and Staatstheater Meiningen. Her play "Gleiswechsel" was nominated for the "Förderpreis der Deutschen Landesbühnen" and premiered in this context. "KOMA" made a guest appearance in 2013 at the Bavarian Theater Days. For “bottle money” she received 2nd place in the Berlin Children's Theater Prize; the play was in the favorites of the "Kathrin-Türks-Preis 2012", was presented in 2014 at the Frankfurt Authors' Forum and made a guest appearance in 2016 at the festival "Schöne Aussicht" in Stuttgart. Lisa Sommerfeldt was with “Dragonheartkill” scholarship holder of the drama exchange of the theater festival “Luaga & Losna 2016” in Austria. In 2016 she received the project grant of the “Children's and Youth Theater Prize Baden-Württemberg” in cooperation with the Ulm Theater for her play design “the dark bird (AT)”. In 2017 Lisa Sommerfeldt was a scholarship holder of the Rhineland-Palatinate Foundation for Culture in the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben. In January 2018 her two short stories “The Moment” and “Cinderella Paraphrase” were broadcast live on the radio station WDR / 1. In the same year, the play “Dorfdisco” was adapted as a radio play (WDR 2018) and translated into Russian (“Деревенская дискотека”, German-Russian theater laboratory at the Young Academic Theater, Rostov-on-Don).

Her twin sister Sara Sommerfeldt is also an actress.
