The building is a small Romanesque vaulted hall with two bays. It was built in the middle of the 12th century. The originally retracted choir square with a semicircular apse was proven during excavations. A late Gothic choir with a 5/8 end was added in 1518. The Romanesque north wall was retained.

In the tower there is a flat-roofed room with a barrel-vaulted niche above the vaulted ground floor hall . Access to this room is via a brick staircase from the nave .

Schlesienstrasse 20–28 (even),

In the years 1963–65 a unique ensemble of houses, squares and pathways was created with the "carpet settlement on Schlesienstrasse". The complex on the outskirts of Münster includes 36 flat-roofed garden courtyard houses and a four-storey apartment building on 2.5 hectares, which also includes shared facilities such as antenna and heating systems.

The nested arrangement of the bungalows and the small but skillfully used open spaces made it possible to own a home in a tight space. The houses have living areas of 80 to 250 m² with land areas between 180 and 450 m².

The living rooms are each in the corner of the building and are oriented either to the edge of the forest or to a courtyard that is enclosed on all sides, so that no outside views of the living areas are possible. This type of construction, which made it possible to withdraw into the private sphere, was an expression of the zeitgeist of the early 1960s. Also noteworthy is the uniform white plaster of the houses, the finish with a gray concrete attic, the slim aluminum profiles for doors and windows, house entrances with sliding doors and window profiles that are flush with the outside wall. The uniform appearance of the residential area, which has largely been preserved to this day, is primarily due to the agreements made by the architects in the purchase contract on materials and details of the external design. In 1968 the residential complex received the first prize from the Association of German Architects (BDA).

The houses - Schlesienstrasse 20–28 (even), 29–32 (odd), 34–90 (even) - are also individually listed.
