In the list of monuments in Bous , all monuments of the Saarland community of Bous are listed. The basis is the publication of the state monuments list in the Saarland official gazette of December 22, 2004 and the current sub-monuments list of the Saarlouis district in the version of August 9, 2017.

1876 The station building from 1876 is on the Saarbrücken − Trier railway line . The low, two-storey plastered building is heavily structured horizontally with storey and sill cornices.

1136 A simple mill was already located here in Roman times. From 1136 to 1792 the Wadgassen monastery operated the mill that it leased. During the wave of secularization of the French Revolution, the mill and the associated courtyard were auctioned. The last miller stopped the mill in 1962. The elongated building with a half-hipped roof and two storeys is divided into a courtyard wing and a mill wing. The plastered building on the eaves has both segmented arched windows and windows with a straight lintel.

1750 The baroque stone cross was created around 1750 by Johannes Guldner at the request of the Wadgasser Abbot Michael Stein. Below the crucifix with a baroque base is a plinth on which there is a half-relief with the motif of poor souls .

1890-1892 The church was built between 1890 and 1892 according to plans by Bouser architect Schneider in the historicist style. You enter the hall with its coffered ceiling via the tower with a plain portal with archivolts. The square tower with three floors is designed as an octocone in the upper part. The five-sided choir adjoins the front. The two low side aisles are separated from the central nave by basket arches.

1949 The monastery was inaugurated in 1949 in a former home of the Hitler Youth. In the same year, construction of the current building complex began. In 1951/52 the monastery church was built according to the plans of György Lehoczky and Rösinger. The narrow, raised façade, which is as high as the tower, is striking. It has small round windows. There are two strongly profiled arched portals in the facade. Low round towers sit at both corners of the square tower. The building's facade ends with a console cornice in a contrasting color. The actual church building is constructed as a three-aisled basilica. In the north there is a sacristy and a small chapel with a semicircular choir. The exam is housed in a three- to four-story H-shaped building complex with commercial and secondary residential buildings. In 2009 the monastery was profaned and has been for sale ever since.

1914/1915 The Protestant church was built in 1914/1915 based on designs by Carl Schlück . The plastered building has a transept and a square tower in the northwest. The building was decorated with Romanesque and Gothic elements. The nave and transept almost form a Greek cross .

1756 The two-storey plastered building on the eaves was built in 1756 by the master builder of Wadgassen Abbey, Johann Heinrich Eckhardt . The elongated building has a baroque portal typical of the time. The segmented arched windows are adorned with an accentuated wedge stone. The building has six window axes, in the seventh there is only a small, round window on the upper floor. The corners of the building are decorated with square blocks.

1936-1938 The town hall was built by E. Karwath from 1936 to 1938. The two-story plastered building is slightly elevated and set back from the street. The facade is eleven-axis with square blocks. The middle axis is made wide. On the upper floor, five tall French doors lead to a narrow balcony supported by consoles. The entrance portal is on the ground floor with three tall, narrow doors with a straight lintel and a profiled reveal. The portal is flanked by two windows. On the hipped roof there is a roof turret with a clock in the center. An annex was built in the southwest.


Mannesmannröhren-Werke Bous Saarbrücker Strasse without number

1892 Plant I of the Mannesmannröhren-Werke at the Bous site was built in 1892 and expanded several times in the 20th century. The plant, founded in 1886, was shut down in 1996. The brick buildings with steel / glass ceiling construction have been empty since then.
