In the list of architectural monuments in Wadgassen , all architectural monuments of the Saarland community of Wadgassen and its districts are listed. The basis is the publication of the state monuments list in the Saarland official gazette of December 22, 2004 and the current sub-monuments list of the Saarlouis district in the version of August 9, 2017.

War memorial The war memorial commemorates those who died in the First World War. It was built by Scherer in 1918. In the plinth with bevelled corners, plates with the names of the fallen are attached, with floral motifs in between. Above it rise four slender Corinthian columns that support an entablature. A fifth massive, hexagonal column with a crucifix rises between the columns. A pedestal rests on the entablature on which an eagle stands with outspread wings.

Parish Church of St. Gangolf St. Gangolf was built from 1891 to 1893 according to plans by Wilhelm Hector . In 1902/03 a baptistery was added. The three-aisled pseudo-basilica, built in the neo-Gothic style, has low ceilings without window openings.

The five-bay nave is followed by an unplastered tower with a pointed helmet on the one hand and a five-sided polygonal choir on the other. Gable and eaves cornices decorate the plastered building. The buttresses are also unplastered.

Catholic Church of the Heart of Jesus The church was built in 1922/23 based on designs by Peter Marx . In 1954 a free-standing bell tower was added. Ensemble "Im Bungert" factory housing estate The factory settlement was built in 1911/12 by the Röchling company for miners from the Hostenbach mine. The two-storey plastered buildings of the settlement were designed unusually lavishly with billet-hipped roofs, dwarf houses, arches and gates.

Catholic Church of St. Guardian Angel The Guardian Angel Church was built in 1933/34 according to the plans of the architects Weiss and Schultheis. In 1953/1954 the tower was built according to plans by the Saarbrücken architect Felix Stenger on one side of the rectangular choir. Villeroy forest house The single-storey building with corner pilasters and a dwelling was built in 1896 and was originally the coffee kitchen of the Hostenbach mine. It is owned by the Boch family and is now used as a forester's house.

Winding machine house of the so-called Karl Shaft of the Hostenbach private mine Of the former private Hostenbach mine, which was operated by the Villeroy & Boch family, only the hoisting machine house of the Karl Shaft, sunk in 1870, remains. The simple rectangular building with high arched windows and lunette windows in the gable dates from this time.

Ensemble of Premonstratensian Abbey Wadgassen - Cristallerie The abbey was founded in 1135. However, nothing of the Romanesque building has survived. The abbey was rebuilt in the first half of the 18th century. During the French Revolution the monastery was secularized and from 1800 sold for demolition. Only remains of the base of the former monastery church are preserved. The other remaining buildings are two-storey plastered buildings with mansard roofs with baroque style elements. The Cristallerie Wadgassen, a glassworks by Nicolas Villeroy, Jean-Francois Boch and Eduard Karcher, was built from the stones of the monastery. Bohemian and French crystal glass was produced here until 1986.

Spurker house The Spurker house was the inn and inn of the Wadgassen Abbey. The elongated two-storey building has a gallery from the 16th century as access to the upper floor and baroque windows from the 18th century.

Catholic Church of St. Mariae Visitation The church was built from 1880 to 1882 by the Luxembourg state architect Karl Arendt . The hall church was built from sandstone in the neo-Gothic style. Gasthaus "Zur Linde" The house dates from the second half of the 18th century. An extension was added to the building in the 19th century. Today it is used as an inn.

Catholic Church of St. Anthony of Padua St. Antonius was built in 1923/24 according to plans by the Trier architect Peter Marx. In the rectangular choir attached to the nave there is a baroque high altar from Saarlouis. The coved ceiling is supported by wide pilasters between the windows. Outside, the building of cornices is structured horizontally. You enter the church through a portal in the low square tower with a pointed helmet.
