In the list of architectural monuments in Wallerfangen , all architectural monuments of the Saarland community Wallerfangen are listed according to their districts. The basis is the publication of the state monuments list in the Saarland official gazette of December 22, 2004 and the current sub-monuments list of the Saarlouis district in the version of August 9, 2017.

Catholic Church of St. Margaretha The simple hall building was built in 1732 and expanded in 1776. Behind the nave there is a tower with Romanesque elements, but it dates from the beginning of the 19th century. The nave with corner cuboids has 4 window axes with arched windows. The retracted choir has a window axis. The baroque portal framed by pilasters is closed off by an entablature with a round arch. There is a cross above it. The painting of the church dates from 1954. Kreuzkapelle, war memorial chapel, wayside cross The small chapel is an open building with a small gable roof. You enter the chapel via a round arch. Inside there is a small altar with a crucifixion group. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century and after the Second World War it was converted into a memorial for the victims of war and tyranny.

Castle Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes The Liebfrauenkirche is a new building from the years 1884 to 1886 and was built according to a design by Carl Friedrich Müller. The small hall church was built in the neo-Gothic style and has two window axes. The portal with a pointed arch sits under a small rose window. A gable rider with a bell sits above it. The interior is subdivided by two bays with ribbed vaults. The choir with a straight end also has a ribbed vault and houses a neo-Gothic high altar. The painting of the church dates from 1955. Castle with farm buildings and enclosing walls The seven-axis plastered building with a mansard roof was built by Johann Baptist de Bely for Claude Ignace de Bely around 1760. In the middle axis of the baroque building is the portal with an outside staircase. The high wall made of rubble stones and the farm buildings are also under monument protection. The structure rises above a narrow base. The facade is structured by cornices and corner pilasters. Arched segment windows with an accentuated keystone form the window axes. The portal has a skylight with a flat round arch.

Catholic Church of St. Hubertus The oldest part of the church is the Romanesque or Gothic tower, which was restored in 1616. The nave dates from 1726 to 1732 and was extended in 1836. The hall church has a rectangular choir. The flat ceiling with paintings and stucco elements is supported on the long sides by covings. Catholic Church of St. Martin From the original church building from the first quarter of the 18th century, only a yoke of the nave and the east tower have survived. The current building was built in 1927/28 according to plans by the Trier architect Peter Marx. The pseudo basilica is spanned in the central nave by a barrel vault with a mesh structure, as is the rectangular choir with apse, in which there is space for a high altar. The portal with the dwarf building that forms the gable of the nave is striking. Catholic Church of St. Remigius The oldest part of the church is the tower, the lower part of which dates from 1530 and shows a ribbed vault on the ground floor. The hall construction dates back to 1742. In the same year the tower was given its current dome. On the gable side, a simple baroque portal, above three arched windows and a small rose window. On the opposite front side built-on choir with a three-sided end. On the long sides, the flat ceiling merges into the walls with three axes via a hollow. Dusard de Vigneulle castle, manor house with farm buildings, surrounding wall The mansion is a simple plastered building with five axes with upright rectangular windows. On the upper floor, a cornice under the windows and a cornice above divide the facade. The house was built in the second half of the 18th century and redesigned in 1857. The surrounding wall is interrupted by a gate with pilasters and a blown gable.

Emilianus tunnel The Emilianus tunnel is part of a Roman copper mine on the steep slope of the Saargau and dates from the 2nd / 3rd centuries. Century AD. Ensemble Adolphshöhe The entrepreneur and MP Nicolas Adolphe de Galhau was mayor of Wallerfangen from 1850 until his death in 1889. During this time, he drove forward the urban development of the community. The improvement of the school conditions in Wallerfangen was particularly important to him. From 1860 he had an urban expansion built on the family's own property in the south of the village. The center was a new town hall with a fairground and three school houses. Construction began in 1864 and was completed in 1874.

Louisenstrasse, former town hall (individual monument): The single-storey plastered building was erected in 1874. The building has seven axes, the middle one being designed as an entrance portal. Short wings protrude from both ends of the core structure. A roof turret with a clock and a high pointed helmet sits in the center of the gable roof. A color-contrasting corner block and ceramic friezes decorate the building. The friezes encircle the structure and form the upper frames of the windows. WallerfangenAltesRathausFront.jpg

Ensemble of Papen Palace and Park Gut Niederhoffen was located here as early as the 15th century. In 1830 it went to the de Galhau family. Nicolas Adolphe de Galhau had the existing buildings demolished in 1862 and built a new manor. From 1864 the garden architect Seitz was commissioned to create a 25 hectare park in the English style. In 1905 the property came into the possession of the later Chancellor Franz von Papen through marriage . The castle was destroyed in 1944. Only the former farm buildings are preserved.

former synagogue , today the New Apostolic Church When the original synagogue, built in 1838, stood in the way of a company expansion of the Wallerfanger operation of the Villeroy and Boch company, the company took over the costs for a new synagogue, which was built in 1892 at the current location. Due to the reduced number of Jewish community members, the synagogue was abandoned before 1935 and initially used as a warehouse. In 1945 the building was returned to the Saar synagogue community. In 1950 the synagogue building was leased by the New Apostolic Church and purchased in 1956. Since then it has been the center of the New Apostolic Church Community of Wallerfangen. The small hall building with a flat saddle brook had a small apse on the east side in which the Torah shrine rested. On the long side are two window axes with arched windows. The original entrance was on the front under an arched window. It has since been relocated, the window has been retained. The plastered building is decorated with corner blocks. Villa Fayence with three-wing farm building The three-storey villa was built in 1834/35 on a square floor plan. The three-story structure rises above a high basement with a cornice. The second floor is designed as a mezzanine . The windows on the first floor are connected by a cornice and have a straight, profiled roof. All windows are provided with a profiled frame. Residential house with outbuildings The two-storey plastered building on the eaves was erected in 1739. The baroque building has a hipped mansard roof. The storeys are separated by cornices, corner pilaster strips loosen up the structure optically. Segmental arches close off the straight windows at the top, the mansard windows have triangular gables. The entrance is framed with a profile. Villeroy Castle, outbuildings and farm buildings The high single-storey brick building was erected in the second half of the 20th century and is structured by a sandstone corner block and a cornice. The rusticated basement has small rectangular windows. The doors are in the middle of the three axes on the street side. Villeroy de Galhau Castle, outbuildings, wall with gate, garden and park, orangery, greenhouse, vegetable garden with wall, gardener's house, shed, porter's house, coach house The two-storey residential palace was built in 1794 for Lasalle de Bombon en Brie. An extension was built on the north side in the middle of the 19th century. The outbuildings date from around 1850. The castle is strictly structured. A central projection with five window axes accommodates the portal in the middle. Above it is a balcony with a wrought-iron railing, covered with consoles. The two recessed parts of the building each accommodate three window axes. The upright rectangular windows are separated by colored wall surfaces. Wide corner pilasters emphasize the dimensions of the building. A wide eaves cornice closes off the structure at the top, a high basement floor was created below. St. Nicholas Hospital with hospital chapel The hospital was built between 1883 and 1885. The elongated T-shaped building has a central projection with five window axes, of which the central one protrudes separately. A small chapel was added to the north gable. The neo-Romanesque chapel has four window axes and a round window in the choir, which is closed on three sides. Walls and ceilings are richly painted. The yokes are formed by ribbed vaults. Fabvier Castle or Old Castle The Fabviersche Castle was built for Nicolas Villeroy . The axially symmetrical, two-storey plastered building is covered with a crooked hip roof. The entrance is in the middle axis. In the roof above the three middle axes there is a dwelling with three windows and an iron balcony. There is a round window in the triangular gable.
