In the list of architectural monuments in Schwalbach , all architectural monuments of the Saarland community Schwalbach are listed according to their districts. The basis is the publication of the state monuments list in the Saarland official gazette of December 22, 2004 and the current sub-monuments list of the Saarlouis district in the version of August 9, 2017.

Community cattle pen From 1902 the municipalities of Sprengen, Elm, Knausholz and Derlen took the breeding stock into their own hands. In 1906 a bull barn was built above the Sandersmühle and kept 3 breeding bulls and 3 billy goats there.

Catholic Church of St. Joseph St. Joseph was built in the neo-Gothic style between 1900 and 1904 according to designs by the architect Peter Marx from Trier. The three-aisled tiered hall church has a nave and a transept, as well as a five-sided choir. Architect and church window painter György Lehoczky designed three windows in 1952. Laurentius fountain The fountain was created around 1910 and redesigned by Ernst Gier in 1978. A wall made of irregular sandstones is raised in the middle part. There stands a figure of St. Laurentius is standing. Below is the brick, semicircular fountain basin. On its way to the pool, the water flows through three staggered bowls attached to each side of the niche.

Catholic Chapel of St. Lawrence The first Laurentius Chapel was built in the 16th or 17th century and was a frequently visited place of pilgrimage. In 1844 a new chapel was built at the old location. The small, rectangular hall building has a small altar above which there is a relief image of the "three Marys with the ointment vessels" from the 16th century.

Catholic Church of St. Laurentius The Laurentiuskirche was built in 1909/10 by Ludwig Becker and Anton Falkowski . During the Second World War the church was badly damaged in 1944/45. The central nave of the neo-baroque church is spanned by a barrel vault and is closed off by a rectangular choir. The church is richly painted inside. The baroque-style church tower with Art Nouveau elements sits on the facade and is flanked by two low towers. The portal lies in a narrow central projection . It is framed by two pilasters with entablature and finished off with a curved gable. Pilasters and cornices structure the sandstone facade. Hülzweiler St. Laurentius 01.JPG

Water tank The water tank was built in 1913. The small building made of rusticated sandstone blocks has a cornice and is flat covered. It was used to supply the households in Hülzweiler with drinking water.

Hauptstraße 186, school, building 1 (individual monument): The building built by Schultheiss in 1878 was rebuilt in 1945. The two-storey, eaves-standing sandstone building is axially symmetrical. On both sides of the projecting central risalit there are four window axes, the segmented arched windows of which are connected by cornices. The portal with a profiled soffit has an entablature with a straight roof. The windows on the first floor are framed by pilasters. There is a smaller twin window in the gable. Ensemble Ney-Schacht In 1867 a shaft was sunk at this point, which initially served as a weather shaft. In 1924 the system was expanded to become a shaft. Today's daytime facilities were created.

Main street, water reservoir, around 1900 (part of the ensemble): The water tower was built around 1900 and was built for the Ensdorfer Schacht. When this was taken out of service as a shaft in 1928, the tower was moved to its current location. The riveted loft container holds 250 cubic meters.

Main street, compressor house, machines (individual monument): The compressor house was built in 1924 on a rectangular floor plan and is a neoclassical cube. A single-storey structure with four to nine axes rises above a rusticated base. Pillar-like pilaster strips support a surrounding cornice with a frieze. The building ends with a gable roof.

Former railway shaft and tunnel mouth of the so-called chain tunnel The railway shaft was sunk in 1857. The chain tunnel was built around 1860 as a cross-connection to the Ensdorf tunnel.

Carpentry of the Griesborn mine (“Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm” pit), compressor house The Griesborn mine was called "Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm" until it was administered by the French mining company Grube. Coal was mined here as early as 1833, but the plant was closed in 1950. Large parts of the daytime facilities were then torn down. Only the joinery and the compressor house from 1857 with an extension in 1879 are preserved. The light sandstone building with three axes and a gable roof is single-storey. The large arched windows are separated by pilaster strips. Today it is the seat of a forge museum.

Catholic Church of St. Martin with wayside cross Martinskirche was built in 1904/05 according to plans by the architect Ernst Brand. The porta lies in the defiant tower facade. The plastered building is externally strongly structured by the squares of the building corners and buttresses. The interior of the basilica is structured by a central nave and two side aisles, which are separated by arcades on round pillars. The elevated crossing is formed by a transept and a nave.
