Coat of arms of the city of Loerrach

The honorary citizenship is the highest award of the Baden-Württemberg district town Loerrach .

Since 1818, 14 people have been granted honorary citizenship. In the course of the incorporation of the communities Brombach , Haagen and Tumringen , the honorary citizenships awarded there were taken over.

Because of the existing honorary citizenship of the painter and poet Hermann Burte , an advocate of the national ideology and supporter of National Socialist ideas, Federal President Theodor Heuss rejected the honorary citizenship of Lörrach.

Note: The listing is done chronologically according to the date of award.
