List of decorations of the NSDAP

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The badges of honor of the NSDAP include those orders and decorations that were awarded directly by the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) during the time of National Socialism in the German Reich .

The majority of awards in this group were aimed at those " party members " who had already joined the NSDAP before the National Socialist " seizure of power " (so-called " old fighters ") or who had been active in their interests, but they were not exclusively limited to this group of people .

Among the decorations of the NSDAP, the Teutonic Order , the Blood Order and the Golden Party Badge were particularly prestigious. All NSDAP badges count as anti-constitutional propaganda in the Federal Republic of Germany . It is prohibited to make, wear or distribute them in public.
