After 1795, the Ravenstein reign became part of the Batavian Republic and then of the short-lived Kingdom of Holland . Subsequently, in the course of the French annexation of the Netherlands , the area became part of the Bouches-du-Rhin department and finally, in 1815, incorporated into the United Kingdom of the Netherlands .
