The Reisnerkogel is 443 m above sea level. A. high elevation of the Rosaliengebirge in Burgenland ( Austria ).
The Reisnerkogel is located about four kilometers southwest of Mattersburg , to whose municipal area the north and west of the mountain belong. The border with the municipality of Marz , a village about three kilometers east of the Reisnerkogel, runs over its summit . The closest settlement is Forchtenstein , whose settlement area begins about one kilometer northwest of the Reisnerkogel. The Burgenland expressway runs at the eastern foot of the mountain . The neighboring mountain in the southeast is the 677 m high Greimkogel .
Geologically, the Reisnerkogel consists mainly of quartz phyllite and mica schist . It is completely forested. The area is developed with numerous forest roads and footpaths, none of which lead to the summit.
