The following list contains the cultural monuments identified in the monument topography in the area of the market town of Villmar , Limburg-Weilburg district , Hesse .

Note: The order of the monuments in this list is based first on the districts and then on the address; alternatively, it can also be sorted according to the name, the number assigned by the State Office for Monument Preservation or the construction time.

The basis is the publication of the Hessian list of monuments, which was created for the first time on the basis of the Monument Protection Act of September 5, 1986 and has been continuously updated since then.

There was a medieval chapel in Villmar. This was replaced by a church in 1768–72, which was destroyed in the major fire in 1873 except for the bare brickwork. The reconstruction in a simple, modeled neo-baroque style took place as a wide hall church with a three-sided choir (similar to the church in Wolfenhausen -Dauborn) and flat frame structure of the silted stone walls. There is a conspicuous canopy ridge above the gable. Some of the window frames are old. Above the portal is the coat of arms of the then church patron, Prince von Wied. The neo-baroque interior with galleries, glazed entrance wall and the integrated organ from 1789 give the interior a festive character. On the outside of the choir there are several gravestones from the 18th century. 1772 52231

So-called. Colonius Court
So-called. Colonius Court Lower Neustraße 1/3
position
hall 1, hall piece: 37, 38
The Colonius Hof is named after one of its later owners, the Councilor Joh. Friedrich Mor. Colonius (born December 16, 1751 in Seelbach). The oldest part of the four-sided, later longitudinally divided property is the residential building. According to the inscription, it was built in 1707 by a mayor of the town. The mostly plastered and slate-clad building with a crooked hipped roof shows a mighty corner post, beautifully profiled swelling timbers with frieze fillings between fluted beam heads. In the hall there is a spiral staircase with carved decorations on the plinth and a baroque door frame to the room. Remarkable stucco ceilings in the upper rooms. The barn on Aumenauer Weg with remains of ornamental plaster. Likewise the stable building dated 1870 (part of house no. 1). The southern stable and residential building (18th / 19th century) served at times as an emergency church. 1707 52235
