The church, in the form of an early Christian basilica, was built in 1836–39 according to designs by the Prussian regional building authority and has clear references to the work of Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1977–81 the floor was moved up to the level of the first gallery, which means that the original spatial character is lost went). Uniformly romanised, western sandstone building with a narrow, drawn-in, straight-closed choir, four large arched windows on the long sides of the narrow aisles, including smaller arched windows, separated by a cornice. In the west large semicircular window above a group of three smaller arched windows. The east facade with only a little protruding tower, main entrance with vestibule and arched portal with stepped walls, each side with another arched portal. Above the main cornice there is a storey flanked by two small towers with three groups of blind arched windows, and the upper part of the square tower rises on three storeys, ending with a folding roof. - Inside open roof and double wooden galleries in the side aisles, organ gallery in the east, ornamental paintings on the gallery balustrades and central nave walls by Walter Rhaue, dated 1939. Simple stone canteen without structure. Carved, octagonal wooden pulpit with colored relief busts of the Evangelists, dated 1939. The stained glass window with Christ in the mandorla from 1933. Large organ by Schuster, 1914, on a pneumatic pocket shutter, modified. - The parsonage in the south, expanded around 1900, and the choir with adjoining school building in the north form part of the original overall architectural design.
