(map)
Marked with 1606 (renovation); marked 1858-1859 (grain mill) Impressive ensemble of a watermill with outdoor facilities and technology, of importance in terms of building history, local history and technology history. There are three inscription panels on the facade of the main building. According to the oldest table, the mill was renovated in 1606. The second inscription refers to a fundamental renovation in the years 1858 and 1859. The mill complex in its present form should essentially go back to this time. Parts of the main building are older. A renovation plan owned by the owner is very likely to relate to the renovation of 1858 and 1859. The drawings show grinding aisles. Back then the roof was steeper. After a fire in 1929, according to the third panel, the mill, especially the main building directly on the road, was completely equipped with new technology in 1930. Most of this comes from MIAG, Dresden Works. At the same time, the main building received a flat gable roof. After the fall of the Wall, in 1993 the miller of the art mill bought newer technology (six roller mills and a pneumatic passage conveyor) and expanded production. This technology has now been sold again. After production was discontinued in 1997, the mill with its cabaret and guest room is used for various cultural events. The rear mill building was mainly used as a storage facility. In addition, living rooms and a cleaning line with the corresponding technology were housed here. Today (2012) the focus is on the use of living space. The smaller outbuilding is a coach house. The main building shows the usual structure of a grain mill with a floor for the main transmission on the ground floor, a grinding floor or roller mill floor, tube floor and classifier floor. Despite the new use, the technology has largely been preserved. The main transmission is on the ground floor. On the roller mill floor there are seven roller mills in a row, five from MIAG (Mühlenbau und Industrie AG), Dresden works and two from Seck Dresden. The MIAG chairs date from the late 1920s (1929/30); those from Seck could be older. In addition, there are other units, including mixing machines, one with the Seck company logo was converted into a counter. The tube sheet (second floor) shows a double roller mill, other machines and a tangle of elevators. However, the cabaret takes up the largest space here. On the plan sifter floor are three plansifters from the MIAG company, a semolina cleaning machine, an aspirator and another cleaning machine (probably a jacket brush machine). Apart from that, there are elevators, the brake elevator, one or more filter cabinets and other technology on the various floors. In addition, the water turbine from 1929/30 has been preserved. The contactor system between the two mill buildings should also date from this time.
