List of cultural monuments in Tauchritz

The list of cultural monuments in Tauchritz includes all of the cultural monuments of the Görlitz district of Tauchritz that were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until October 2017 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

1686 Structurally and locally of importance. Evangelical parish church. Towerless hall church, erected after the fire of the previous building in 1686, roof renewed in 1993. Plastered quarry stone building, the recessed choir with 7/12 end and sacristy. High, narrow rectangular windows and a gable roof with bat dormers. Remains of the former square painting still exist on the north and south walls, on the north side there is a two-storey box extension. The west side is plain, with two sound openings in the gable and a flat arch entrance. The hall with a flat ceiling. On the west wall there is an organ gallery, on the north and south side double galleries with marbled parapet fields, on the north side of the choir a glazed box with wooden parapets. Late Baroque pulpit altar from the 18th century, between two marbled columns that support a heavy, cranked entablature, the simple, polygonal pulpit with a small sound cover, next to it remains of an older group of figures: Christ and angels, end of the 17th century, on the sides rocaille and Acanthus carvings. - The white and gold framed, octagonal baptism around 1840. On the first floor of the box extension, a beautiful faience oven from the middle of the 18th century. Remains of a wooden epitaph with the coat of arms of Warnsdorf in the box. On the side of the pulpit altar gravestone for Joh. Christoph Warmsdorf with a depiction of the deceased in armor († 1685). Organ 1852 (Schl ... & Söhne, Schweidnitz), enclosure wall made of quarry stone with clinker brick layer, gate in the west (new gate) and gate with single-leaf ornamental grille gate in the north, access gate in the south with double-leaf ornamental grille gate, the According to the Lower Monument Protection Authority of Görlitz, historical tombs are under restoration, gate trees (Tilia cordata). 09277241

1686 to the end of the 18th century Subject aggregate of the Tauchritz manor with the following individual monuments: moated castle with surrounding moat, farm yard with all large barns and stable buildings as well as remains of the enclosure wall with gate entrance, rich stucco work in the castle (see individual monuments at the same address, object 09277246) as well as the complex of the manor as a whole; First buildings named as Veste Tucheras in 1357, of which the remainder of a tower has been preserved, of architectural, artistic and local significance. 1686 (probably after Brand, remains of predecessors) First buildings named as Veste Tucheras in 1357, of which the remainder of a tower has been preserved, of architectural, artistic and local significance. Castle, now apartments. Rectangular, two-storey structure with a high, hipped gable roof, built in 1686/87 over an old moated castle, of which half a tower shell of the tower that was demolished in 1883 has been preserved at the back, the surrounding moat was filled in the course of lignite mining in the north. Ceiling security 1958, roof repair 1994. Main front of the plastered quarry stone building with nine axes, the side with six axes, the rectangular windows with sandstone walls. On the south side a three-axis central projection with plastered pilaster strips and triangular gable with a round window, this surrounded by two angels holding the coats of arms of the von Gersdorf and Warnsdorf. Simple main portal above a high basement, with an open staircase in front of it. Central projection and staircase, excellent stucco ceilings 1715–1720. 09277246

1st quarter of the 18th century Individual monument of the entity Rittergut Tauchritz. The stucco ceilings and stucco overhangs from the 1st quarter of the 18th century, in particular the overhangs in the ground floor hall, the wall fireplace richly decorated with figures and acanthus in the eastern corner room on the lower floor and its stucco ceiling are of extremely considerable value depicting female virtues, the stucco ceilings depicting the four seasons in the western corner of the lower floor, the emblematic depictions accompanied by rich acanthus in the western corner room of the upper floor and the sheet masks with acanthus in the southern corner room of the upper floor. 09277246

After 1828 See also the entirety document - Obj. 09305644, of surveying and regional history as a contemporary document of the historical demarcation between Saxony and Prussia after the Congress of Vienna in 1815. Two granite blocks (42 × 42 cm) with number 15 and country abbreviation, one each in Saxon ("KS") , Kingdom of Saxony) and the Prussian side ("KP", Kingdom of Prussia) with a running stone in between, over which the border line runs, the colored version with jagged borders has not been preserved. 09305405

  • The official list of cultural monuments is never closed. It is permanently changed through clarifications, new additions or deletions. A transfer of such changes to this list is not guaranteed at the moment.
  • The monument quality of an object does not depend on its entry in this or the official list. Objects that are not listed can also be monuments.
  • Basically, the property of a monument extends to the substance and appearance as a whole, including the interior. Deviating applies if only parts are expressly protected (e.g. the facade).
