George's Chapel with granary The Georgskapelle was built in the first third of the 14th century in the Gothic style. A one-story granary adjoins the small church. In the 14th century the chapel served as a burial place for the Lichtenberg rule . After the French Revolution, the building also served as a prison. The construction of the roof with hanging truss is one of the few examples of this type of construction in Alsace. There is an apartment on the upper floor of the chapel. The granary is an elongated building block with large arched windows and a high, steep gable roof.
