Former Benedictine abbey with St-Pierre-et-St-Paul abbey church The former abbey church was built in the 12th and first half of the 13th century. The oldest part of the church includes a barrel-vaulted room under the choir, which was probably used in the 9th century as a confessio for the bones of St. Adelphus was erected. The subsequent expansion of the church is strongly influenced by the Gothic. Between 1180 and 1210 the nave grew by two more bays. Buttresses on the side aisles hold the raised central nave. Around 1225, the Strasbourg cathedral builder took over further work. Arcades on slender pillars were placed in front of the already existing aisle walls, which frame a magnificent pillar portal. A west tower existed until the 18th century. From 1768, the diocese architect François Pinot created an early classicist gable façade surmounted by a wide tower and renewed the outer walls of the south aisle. The abbey church is a three-aisled basilica with a straight end of the choir and a mighty crossing tower. In front of the nave to the west is a mighty classical portal with a square tower. This is closed at the top by a high balustrade with figures on the corner pillars. In front of the tower is a mighty blind facade, which was designed as an aedicule. The central part is crowned by a typical triangular gable supported by wide pilasters. On the outside, volutes slim the structure in the upper part. Only remains of the monastery have survived. The cloister can still be recognized by a portal with a profiled wall and seven leaf rosettes. In the still-preserved east wing of the convent building, the chapter house with a ridge vault has been preserved.

Chapel of St Nicolas The Saint-Nicolas chapel was first mentioned in a document in 1285. Excavations have shown that the church was built in the 11th century. In the 13th and 14th centuries it served as the burial place of the Lords of Lichtenberg . A report from 1759 complained about the poor condition of the chapel and mentioned that it was no longer used for church services. From 1768 onwards, the chapel was gradually demolished in order to create a large square north of the abbey church. When the square was redesigned, the foundations of the chapel were excavated and preserved. This is how the basic shape of the chapel became recognizable. The roughly 20 meter long building with three window axes and narrow side aisles had a small transept and a semicircular choir. There is also a sarcophagus that stands next to the church on the square.

Old Jewish Cemetery Jews lived in the Neuwiller community as early as the 13th century. At the latest since then, the Jews had their own cemetery, which was located in the fortress moat. It was first documented in the second half of the 13th century. Numerous tombstones and name stones that were inserted into a wall are still preserved from him. The oldest date from 1260, the youngest from around 1550. In 1877 the Jewish community got a new cemetery .

Church St-Adelphe After his death, the Metz bishop Adelphus was buried in the crypt of the abbey church of St. Clemens in Metz. In 826 or 836 his bones were transferred to the Benedictine Abbey of Neuwiller on the instructions of the Metz bishop Drogo. St-Adelphe is first mentioned as a collegiate church in 1147 and was originally associated with the abbey as the parish church of St. John the Baptist. Later the church was united with the Adelphistift. Around 1220 the relics of St. Adelphus taken to the Saints-Pierre-et-Paul church. In 1545 Count Philip IV of Hanau-Lichtenberg enforced the Reformation on his territory. At first the Protestants still used the Saint-Grégoire chapel, but it soon became too small. On March 7, 1562 Protestants invaded the church and expelled the canons. This made Sainte-Adelphe one of the first simultaneous churches in Alsace. In 1800 the Catholics finally received the abbey church as a new place of worship. The orphaned transept of St-Adelphe became a syringe house. In 1835 the dividing wall was torn down and the Protestants got the entire church back. The three-aisled pillar basilica has a nave with six bays and a broad transept. Only remnants of the former choir can be seen externally. Inside the church today closes smoothly in line with the eastern wall of the transept. Above the crossing sits a mighty tower with an almost square floor plan. The gable portal was emphasized, in which the central nave protrudes over the side aisles. Two round towers pushed into the facade flank this risalit. There is a rose window above the entrance. Arch friezes adorn the exterior of the church made of red sandstone. The strong vault structure inside is supported by arcades that rest on octagonal bevelled pillars. Simple ridge vaults predominate in the side aisles.

Hotel de la Prévôté du Chapitre The building was built in the second half of the 18th century by the Swiss architect Jacques Gallay as the official residence of the provost Michel Antoine Le Vayeur (1748–1789). In 1792, after the secularization, the building was sold to private individuals. In 1795 the French general and later Marshal of France Henri Clarke d'Hunebourg bought the house. The redesign of the salon in Empire style with the paintings from 1808 goes back to him. The three-storey plastered building is strictly symmetrical. Clarke added an attic storey to the original two storeys. Sandstone pilaster strips and cornices structure the plastered structure. The middle of the seven window axes is particularly emphasized. Here sits a portal with a profiled garment and a cartouche with initials as a keystone. On the narrow sides of the building are lower, three-axle extensions.

town hall The town hall was built in 1780 instead of an older building that was the seat of a court. The two-storey plastered building with a mansard hipped roof is structured by a cornice and corner pilasters. In the center of the façade is a central projection with a triangular gable. Above the portal with an accentuated keystone sits a balcony with a wrought iron railing on two consoles.

Residential building The two-storey plastered building with a steep hipped roof was built in the 16th century as a house for a canon. The Renaissance portal still has late Gothic echoes. Two fluted pilasters support an entablature with a lunette window. A small triangular gable sits on top. The building was erected over a basement protruding far from the ground. A small stair tower was placed at the rear of the house.

Residence ("Edelmanshof") The residential building was built in 1599 from red sandstone. The gable-end building, which looks very high towards the street, was erected over a ground floor made of stone in half-timbered construction. In the gable facade there is an opening . The facade recedes on the long side facing the courtyard. There is a wooden gallery with a balustrade on the upper floor, which is supported by three round columns. In the portal of the stair tower with half-timbered gable you can find the year 1605 and the name Jacob Cun .

General Clarke's tomb The tomb, erected in 1818 for the French general Henri Clarke d'Hunebourg in the Catholic cemetery, consists of a high marble plinth on which a round column rests. There is a vase with a laurel wreath on it. The sock shows a relief with the general's likeness, his coat of arms and two inscriptions (title and function and a short homage). Arched gables and acroteries sit on the base .

Fountain The fountain in the courtyard of the "Edelmanshof" was built at the end of the 16th or beginning of the 17th century. The round fountain parapet made of red sandstone sits between two rectangular columns with Renaissance decor. The yoke was originally made of stone, today the pillars support a wooden lintel. The ornamentation of the pillars shows foliage and medallions with rosettes.
