The list of places in the state capital Mainz lists the capital and all parts of the municipality (districts, residential areas and other parts of the municipality) in the independent city of Mainz . This is the official directory of the municipalities and parts of the municipality and consists of the official directory of the municipalities maintained by the State Statistical Office of Rhineland-Palatinate and the official directory of the parts of the municipality maintained by the State Office for Surveying and Geospatial Information in Rhineland-Palatinate .
