This page lists the Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris on.
France was one of the founding members of UNESCO on November 4, 1946 ; the French UNESCO Commission was also founded in 1946. One of the tasks of the head of the mission is the coordination between the French government and the UNESCO bodies, including the implementation of the World Heritage Convention in France .
