It is not exactly known since when the Meyer family lived in Husener Strasse, traces go back to the 1920s. Kurt Meyer was born on July 23, 1897 in Oeynhausen, he was a horse commissioner. His wife Anna, née Marker, came from Westick and was not Jewish. They had a son Kurt, born on January 17, 1921. He was a soldier. The Meyers' business was attacked during the night of the pogrom and then "Aryanized". Erich and Kurt were deported by the Nazis - probably after 1942. Erich's fate is unclear, he was initially considered missing and was later declared dead. Kurt's stay in various concentration camps is documented; he was murdered in Mauthausen concentration camp . Anna Meyer survived and moved to Castrop-Rauxel in 1946.

Josef Andres died in April 1935 in the Josef Hospital in Hörde. After his death, Margarete and Hertha first moved to Ostenhellweg 32, where Walter also moved, and later to Reichenbach in Vogtland, where the older daughter Hildegard already lived. Hildegard married a second time in Berlin in 1942.She was transported to Auschwitz in March 1943 and later declared dead together with her sister. Walter Andres moved to Saarland in 1933, but returned to Dortmund in 1934. In 1938 he married Emmi Rosenthal. In 1942 the couple were deported to Riga. After that there is only uncertain information. June 2, 2009 | Julius Arensberg, born in 1911 , lived here, deported 1941 Minsk murdered |
Even if the household register at Köln-Berliner Str. 16 is illegible, there is an entry for Moritz Arensberg at this address in the address book for 1908. He lived here with his wife Hedwig and their five children Julius, Rosa, Emilie, Martha and Siegfried. Moritz Arensberg died on December 3, 1934 and in 1939 the other members of the family moved to Ruinsstrasse 1. Siegfried moved to Unna and in 1940 married Hildegard Elkan. They moved to Werne and a year later they were deported to Riga on the Münster-Osnabrück-Bielefeld transport. Both are listed as dead on the transport. However, there is still an entry from Hildegard Arensberg in 1944, she can be found on the transport list to the Stutthof concentration camp , but after that there is no further evidence of her survival. Emilie Arensberg married Max David from Wuppertal in 1939 and moved to Wuppertal. After living in Cologne in 1940, her brother Julius moved to the David family in Wuppertal and in November 1941 Emilie and Max David and Julius Arensberg were deported to Minsk. There are no further records of them. In March 1941 Hedwig moved with Martha and Rosa to Sölder Kirchweg 27 and in April they and all the other Jewish residents of the house were forced to go to Dortmund-Huckarde in an emergency shelter in Parsevalstrasse. 8 to draw. Hedwig was deported to Theresienstadt concentration camp in July 1942 and to the Treblinka extermination camp in September 1942 . There are no other records of her. The two daughters Martha and Rosa were deported to Riga in January 1942. They are considered missing and are listed on the list of the dead in the Riga memorial book.

Löwenstein was initially protected by this "privileged marriage" and took over his Jewish parents' butcher business in Märtmannstrasse. 40 and worked as a butcher until 1939. The company was closed in 1939, Löwenstein was obliged to do forced labor and in September 1944 deported to a labor camp in Weißenfels with other male Jews who lived in “privileged marriage”. In mid-February he was sent to the Theresienstadt concentration camp. His name is on the lists of survivors, but he did not return home. According to statements made by surviving Jews in Theresienstadt, Lilli Schlick and Pinkas Medaljon, who knew him personally, he died there of typhus . The Gollubier family consisted of five people, the parents Hermann and Bertha and the three sons Alfred Aron, Ewald and Herbert. The father Hermann died in 1934, after that there are only imprecise records about the life of Bertha and her sons. In 1940/1941 they moved to Stiftstrasse 15. Bertha was transported to Theresienstadt on July 25, 1942, and to Treblinka two months later. There is no further record of her life; she was probably murdered on the transport. Alfred Aron is listed in the list of deaths of the transport from December 13, 1941 from Münster-Osnabrück-Bielefeld to Riga, as are Ewald and Anna Gollubier, née. Windmüller, probably Ewald's wife. Alfred and Ewald can be found in the Stutthof concentration camp list in 1944 . Ewald probably perished there towards the end of the war. The further fate of Alfred Aron and Herbert is unclear. Possibly they were transported to Auschwitz.
