Location of the stumbling blocks in front of the clinic entrance

The list of stumbling blocks in Liebenburg contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Liebenburg as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Liebenburg. When it was moved in January 2012, ten stumbling blocks were laid. (As of June 2019)

The stumbling block at the top of this stumbling block installation describes the fate of all of the patients of the nursing home Dr. Fontheim in Liebenburg. All nine women were transported to the Wunstorf sanatorium on September 21, 1940 and came via the Berlin-Buch sanatorium to the Brandenburg killing center , where they were murdered on arrival on September 27, 1940 in Action T4 .
