The parish church of St. Jakob is surrounded by a cemetery and was mentioned in a document in 1245. The choir of the Gothic building dates from the 2nd half of the 15th century, the nave from 1538–39. Until 1786 the church was incorporated into St. Lambrecht Abbey. It was restored in 1968–72.

The relief of a bearded male figure at the cemetery gate probably dates from the 16th century, next to it marble tablets with the 10 commandments from the beginning of the 17th century.

The Karner is a two-story Romanesque round building with a bay-like east apse on the upper floor, with a round arched window in which a Gothic one is inserted. Inside a crucifixion group from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century by Balthasar Prandtstätter .

Several Roman inscription stones from the 1st and 2nd centuries are walled in in the church and in the Karner.
