The Marian column on the main square was donated by Count von Wagensperg in 1753 and probably originated from Josef Schokotnigg . In 1978 it was restored. On a stone pillar stands an Immaculate, on the base the hll. Joseph, Johann Nepomuk , Joachim and Anna , on single plinths the hll. Johannes d. T. , Sebastian and Rochus .

The Carmelite monastery was founded in 1395 by Friedrich and Georg von Hanau together with the parish church of St. Josef and abolished in 1812. The three to three and a half storey complex of the monastery was built around a rectangular courtyard in the 17th century. On the north front in a niche a baroque statue of St. Josephs from the construction period. Some tombstones to the church, for example for Prior Matthäus Werenwag († 1638), kneeling in front of the cross and for Prior Christophorus Dözner from the 1st half of the 17th century, as well as other Biedermeier tombstones .

A playground created in the 1950s by artists of the Graz Secession ( Franz Eigner , Gottfried Fabian and others) according to a plan by the architect Franz Jakubecki was converted into a memorial for Hans Deutscher , Mayor of Voitsberg from 1927 to 1930.
