The Catholic parish church of St. Georg was first mentioned in a document in 1245 and was incorporated into St. Lambrecht Monastery until 1786 . In the place of an older church, which is said to have been built in 1422, there is a new building from the years 1722-25, which includes the old Gothic west tower. The tower was completed in 1587.

The nave has three aisles and five bays, the side aisles with galleries, the side chapel in the south and the sacristy in the north create a cruciform floor plan. The choir follows seamlessly and with one yoke, with a 3/8 end. The entire church is covered with a cross vault on girders.

The high altar with the altar sheet St. Georg is from the beginning of the 18th century, the essay with statues by Balthasar Prandtstätter from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century.
