The church was built in 1818 as an unadorned tower-free structure and extended in 1888 by architect Ludwig Schöne and given a tower in neo-Romanesque style. The remarkable altarpiece Adoration of the Magi , labeled A 1537 A, copies a woodcut by Albrecht Dürer from 1511. Hannelore Knittler-Gesellmann (1976) designed the glass windows . The organ was built by Franz Ullmann (1852).

The baroque gabled house as a long stretch yard in Burgenland from the 18th century is the oldest building in Gols. 400 local wines are presented in the cellar. The ground floor is used for events. Since 2014, the building has also housed a museum dedicated to the children's and youth author Erwin Moser .

The Holy Trinity column to the right of the staircase leading to the churchyard of the Catholic parish church was built around 1700, it has an Ionic capital and a three-dimensional trinity. The column was restored in 1976.

The Trinity Column on the federal road shows the year 1618 and was restored in 1806. The column used to stand in the Zitzmannsdorf desert and was moved here.

The Romanesque church, built in the 12th and 13th centuries, shows with the massive east tower the former further function as a fortified church.
