In 1234 a church was mentioned in a document. The church was enlarged in the 15th century. The wooden coffered ceiling was donated by Georg von Liechtenstein in 1534. From 1759 to 1764 the choir was rebuilt by the bricklayer Franz Jager. From 1766 to 1777 the tower was raised. In 1937 and 1968 the interior of the church was restored.

The branch church of St. Ulrich am Hollerberg is a simple Gothic rectangular building with a turret, which was consecrated in 1478. Special features are the painted wooden ceilings of the choir and nave and the late Gothic winged altar.

The church was built from 1790 to 1793 by master mason Lorenz Ferner. The interior of the church was restored in 1975. The high altar, probably related to the version dated 1750, bears statues by Balthasar Prandtstätter around 1740. The organ in Baroque tradition was built in 1867 by Ludwig Mooser . One bell is from the 15th century.
