The core of the house comes from the 15th / 16th centuries. Century. On the west side of the two-storey building with a mighty hipped roof there is a single-storey extension and a toilet tower on the south side. The delicate plaster decor on the main and east facades was added in the late 18th or early 19th century. The Mittellabenhaus has a continuous transverse corridor with a stitch cap vault. The ground floor rooms to the west have remarkable late Gothic vaults. The north-eastern corner room on the upper floor is decorated with baroque-classical stencil painting. In the northeast cellar there is a single-pillar room with a four-part groin vault.

The church, which is essentially Gothic, was rebuilt and expanded in the 17th century. Gothic iron fittings on the door; the choir vault with relief consoles and keystones. The stained glass in the windows of the sloping choir from the first third of the 15th century are remarkable. Altars from the 17th century.

The castle, a mighty four-wing complex, was built from the 15th to the 18th century through the gradual conversion and expansion of a Romanesque castle. It includes two chapels. Remarkable ceiling stucco in some rooms; a ceiling painting by Fromiller. Bad condition (windows, doors, floors and installations are partially missing); In 2015 repairs were announced by a new private owner.

The church is a uniform late Gothic building; richly profiled west portal with a keel arch. Stone pulpit from the 15th century with reliefs. Dominating the interior, which is surprisingly bright thanks to the high Gothic windows, is the more than 10 meter high Gothic winged altar with rich sculptural and picturesque decoration. The former altarpiece with a large painting above the south portal is also remarkable.

The church, which is surrounded by a cemetery wall, is a medieval building that was probably largely renovated in the 18th century. In the church there is a Gothic baptismal font, four console figures in the nave, a baroque pulpit with painted evangelists, and three baroque altars.

The Kalvarienberg chapel stands on a rock cone north of Metnitz. The small building with a roof turret is marked 1726 on the gable. The chapel with a cross vault is open to the north. The wall paintings date from the 18th - 19th centuries. The altarpiece shows the Descent from the Cross. Two large oil paintings with martyrdoms from the late 17th century hang on the walls. On the outside of the south wall there is a crucifixion group with Christ and the thieves from the first half of the 18th century.

In the rectory in the south-west part of the fortification, the remains of a fortification documented in 1285 as “turris in Moetenz” have been preserved. The current building was built in the early baroque and the facade was later renewed. The interiors have late baroque stucco ceilings. In 1996 the attic was expanded for a kindergarten and a three-axis entrance building was added.

In 1996, the former fire department armory was adapted for the dance of death museum next to the church.

The frescoes created around 1500 were removed from the outer wall of the Karner in 1968-1970 and restored from 1982 onwards. The frescoes were first placed in the church and transferred to the museum in 1996. Four of the original 28 pairs of figures have survived. Death is depicted with a cook, farmer, child and mother.

The Karner is an octagonal Gothic building from the 14th century with a steep pyramid roof. The interior was transformed into a war memorial chapel in the 20th century. On the outside wall a reconstruction of the dance of death fresco; the original was removed around 1970 and transferred to a museum.

The church is a Gothic building with late baroque additions. A Christoforus fresco on the south wall of the nave. The frescoes inside are remarkable: in the choir from the beginning of the 14th century, in the Anna chapel from the beginning of the 15th century. Baroque, richly decorated high altar with altar panel by Fromiller. Console figures (apostles) in the nave. The church is surrounded by a defensive wall with loopholes.
