The Herbst house is a representative four-wing complex, some of which goes back to the first half of the 13th century, was built over in the late Middle Ages and converted into a spacious complex with a two-storey three-sided arcade courtyard in the 16th century. The simple facade facing Bahnhofstrasse dates from the middle of the 19th century. In the 16th century the entrance was provided with an eight-bay barrel vault with stitch caps . In the wide hall above the driveway, a barrel vault from around 1530 with stitch caps rests on pillars.

The house is a 16th century building built over a U-shaped floor plan with a simple 18th century facade. The five-bay arcades on the upper floor of the north wing were built in the second quarter of the 16th century. In the four-bay entrance hall, a cross vault from the first quarter of the 16th century rests on an octagonal granite pillar.

The house consists of two medieval houses from the second half of the 13th century, which were connected to a three-wing complex in the 16th century. The gable roof dates from the second half of the 17th century. The facade is structured by the wide eaves, the profiled cornice and the cordon cornice above the ground floor. Late medieval slot windows from the beginning of the 14th century have been preserved on the northern front. A barrel vault with stitch caps rests on pillars on the side of the corridor. Small coats of arms from the 16th century are attached to the apex of the two groin vaults facing the courtyard.

The building was formerly owned by the Archbishopric of Salzburg and served as a poor house from 1876. The facility consists of two houses. The northern tract dates partly from the second half of the 13th century and was expanded into a two-wing complex in the 14th century. In the inner courtyard there are double arcades from the 16th century over two floors above Tuscan columns with groin vaults. The outer wall on the border with the Fürstenhof is unplastered and dates from the 13th century. The windows were made in the third quarter of the 14th century. The two-flight, flat-arched vaulted staircase with wooden stairs and groin vaults in the northern part of the house dates from the 17th century. The southern part of the house with an ogival gate opening was built in the first half of the 16th century.

The building, made up of two houses, served as the town hall at the beginning of the 18th century, and a pharmacy has been housed here since the end of the 18th century. The core of the complex dates from the end of the 13th century. The western part was built over at the beginning of the 14th century and rebuilt in the first half of the 16th century. The east wing has a meander frieze from the first half of the 19th century above the lintel on the upper floor. The upper floor has several frescoes. On the left is a Saint Christopher painted around 1500 . In the middle there are two coats of arms from the second half of the 16th century, the right one is the city arms of Friesach. The coat of arms of Archbishop Jakob Ernst Graf von Lichtenstein was painted over it in 1745 . On the right is the Leonhard von Keutschach coat of arms from 1497. The plaque on the west wing commemorates the doctor and poet Karl Schönherr , who completed an internship here in 1890/91. On the ground floor there is a one-pillar room from the 16th century with a mighty central pillar. The western hallway has a barrel vault with stitch caps and lancet windows from around 1320 . The original wooden furnishings from the second half of the 19th century have been preserved in the pharmacy.

Today's Gasthof Metnitztalerhof is the former mountain judge's house. It consists of two medieval houses from the first half of the 13th century, which were built over in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th. The simple facade dates from 1988. The free-standing building on the northwest corner of the main square dates back to the first half of the 13th century. It was expanded in the late Middle Ages and rebuilt in the 16th and 18th centuries. The facade in late Classicist-Josephine forms was built around 1800. The inscription stone by Larenz Twenger from 1466 is placed in the vestibule.

The house includes the garden pavilion built at the end of 1900 on the southeast slope of the Peterberg, a small building on a square floor plan with a hipped roof. The two-storey storage building over a rectangular floor plan is a former bulk box from the second half of the 15th century.

The cemetery chapel is dedicated to the Holy Cross. It is a late classicist building built in 1833 with a square nave, an altar apse and a roof turret. The vestibule is crowned by a gable. Two are placed on the sides of the portal and two inside. The interior has a square vault. The wood-carved crucifix by Johann Propst was brought here from the castle chapel of Mayerhofen in 1839.

The church is essentially a Romanesque building; an ossuary under the choir, Christophorus painting on the south wall of the nave. The furnishings include a baroque high altar, two side altars from the 17th century, a rococo pulpit and a late Gothic crucifix.

The palace, built in the late 17th century, is a three-storey building on a rectangular floor plan with a Josephine facade. In some rooms on the upper floor, stucco work from the 18th century has been preserved.

The chapel with a two-bay nave, barrel-vaulted apse and roof turret was built in 1825. The furnishings include a large painted frame in the altar niche and baroque canvas paintings.

The Karner south of the church is a small late Gothic building from 1522 with a three-eighth closure, roof turrets and stone slab roof. Inside, a two-bay ribbed vault rests on consoles. The picture of St. Martin in a richly carved frame was created around 1720. An ossuary is housed in the basement.

The late baroque church with a porch tower was probably built on older masonry; a late Gothic portal on the south side. The furnishings (altars, pulpit, organ prospectus) are uniformly late baroque, from the workshop of Johann Pacher.

The lords of Weilern have been traceable since 1136, those of Staudach since 1315. The castle from the second half of the 16th century is a three-storey building over a rectangular floor plan with two projecting corner towers lying diagonally.

The church is a Gothic building with a western tower and a baroque sacristy extension. There is a leg chamber under the choir. Glass paintings from the 14th century on the end of the choir window, remains of wall paintings from the 15th century on the north wall. The altar panel of the high altar adorned with sacrificial portals shows St. George.

The Romanesque church was expanded to include the 5/8 choir closure in the early 15th century. The stained glass on the southern choir window also dates from that time. Faded wall paintings on the north wall of the choir. The furnishings come from different epochs: from late Gothic figures to a high altar painting (St. George) from the early 20th century.

The stately church consists of a Romanesque tower (12th century) as well as a Gothic choir and nave with stepped buttresses and ribbed vaults with capitals and keystones in relief (15th century). The furnishings include three rococo altars and eight console figures on the walls.

The rectory is essentially a medieval building. On the outside of the east wall there is a remarkable late Gothic master builder tombstone for a master Peter with tools of the Passion of Christ and maker's marks in bas-relief.
