The school was founded in direct connection with the tolerance patent issued in 1781 and was one of only three Protestant schools in Lower Austria. The current building in the Josephine style was built in 1817 and expanded to its current appearance in 1846. |

The Tolerance Church is the oldest Protestant church in Lower Austria. Originally a prayer house, which was inaugurated on August 21, 1785. In 1849 the facade tower was added to the west and the church was essentially given its current appearance. The hall church is oriented to the east, has a retracted semicircular closed choir and late baroque-early classicist structural elements. |
