The school was founded in direct connection with the tolerance patent issued in 1781 and was one of only three Protestant schools in Lower Austria. The current building in the Josephine style was built in 1817 and expanded to its current appearance in 1846.

The Tolerance Church is the oldest Protestant church in Lower Austria. Originally a prayer house, which was inaugurated on August 21, 1785. In 1849 the facade tower was added to the west and the church was essentially given its current appearance. The hall church is oriented to the east, has a retracted semicircular closed choir and late baroque-early classicist structural elements.

In place of a chapel for the Holy Family built in 1875 in 1914/15 according to plans by Hubert Gangl in late romantic expressionist or Heimatstil forms, completed only in 1967, west-facing hall church with south aisle, tower expanded in 1938, parish exposition in 1944.
