		Former Freihof, so-called Turmhof ObjectID:  1593	Fladnitzerstraße 44–46 KG location : Retz Altstadt	Built between 1718 and 1722 as a single-wing complex, the building was expanded in 1874 and 1902. Baroque facade with pilaster strips. Is used as a Caritas home.
		Windmill ObjectID:  10350	Kalvarienberg 2 KG location : Retz old town	The windmill is the symbol of the city of Retz. Built in 1722, it was converted in 1850 to get its current appearance. It is fully functional and occasionally in operation.
		Former St. Pöltner Stiftshof, Retz Elementary School ObjectID:  1594	Kirchenstrasse 1 KG location : Retz Altstadt	In the years 1698 to 1702 the U-shaped three-storey baroque building was erected over an older core, presumably according to plans by Jakob Prandtauer , and rebuilt and expanded several times. The street front is double risers, the middle axis with the basket arch portal is gabled triangular. The facade is banded on the ground floor, the windows have parapet fields and wedges.

Its cloister courtyard is essentially Gothic. Major parts of the complex were built after the fire of 1599. In 1716 the complex was largely completed. The monastery church Maria Himmelfahrt , built in the 13th century in the Gothic style, is the oldest three-aisled hall church in Austria, with conversions in the late Gothic and Baroque styles.

		Catholic Parish Church of Saint Lawrence ObjectID:  2077	Location KG: Unteralb	Baroque changes and a massive, late Gothic north tower characterize the basilica, which is essentially high medieval. The simple baroque facade is structured by plastered panels and box-framed arched windows. Cross-oval oculi in the central nave. The tower, probably from the beginning of the 16th century, is equipped with loopholes, baroque clock gables and a baroque helmet from the 19th century.
