The chapel was built in 1831 instead of a small bell tower and rebuilt in 1872. In 1961 the church was redesigned, the copper portal and the large fresco are by Franz Weiss , who also provided the designs for the glass windows from the Schlierbach glass painting workshop .

The parish church was rebuilt in 1660. It has a two and a half bay nave, a wide single bay choir and a western front with a tower.
