The rectory bears a building inscription from 1622 and is dated 1763 on the portal. A niche figure of St. Nicholas comes from the 1st half of the 17th century.

The parish church of St. Georg, first mentioned in a document in 1350, was originally an own church of the Wolfsauer . The church was rebuilt in 1637/38, corresponding data on the facade and vaults. The three-storey nave with a groin vault is closed off by a drawn-in two-bay choir with a straight end and oratorios on the side . According to the inscription, the square north tower was built in 1693 and heightened in 1825. Two square chapels with stucco on groin vaults extend from the third yoke of the nave. The three-axis organ gallery rests on four columns, has a swinging parapet and dates from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century, the organ from 1873. The furnishings are late Baroque, the pulpit from 1772 is attributed to Johann Piringer .

The boundary stone, together with others, dates from 1856 and marks the border between Styria and Hungary in the section between Lafnitz and Mur . The border marking was carried out under Maria Theresa . Further boundary stones of this border are in situ in Zelting and Sicheldorf .
