The Magdalenskirche, built in 1170, used to stand here. Around 1830, the Magdalenenkapelle was added to the south side of the church and the church itself was almost completely demolished and converted into a residential wing. At the beginning of the 20th century, the main pastor Leitgeb extended, enlarged and embellished the building.
