Halbenrain Castle was originally built in the 16th and 17th centuries and was largely renovated after a fire in 1767. A three-storey, somewhat irregular square surrounds an almost square inner courtyard. The facades, the courtyard and the garden side were designed in the second half of the 18th century. Since 1724 it has been the property of the Stürgkh counts, and since 1980 it has been in state ownership.

The baroque parish church was consecrated in 1717. It has a two-bay choir, a three-bay nave and a square tower on the north side of the choir. A Loreto chapel with the burial place of Count Stürgkh was added to the east. Most of the furnishings date from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century.
