The wayside shrine on Budapester Straße B10 was erected around 1600 by four Passau canons: Urban von Trennbach (Tarrenbach), Dr. Erasmus Gold from Lampoding , Ehrerung and Pretzenau. The boundary stone bears the year 1745.

The wayside shrine was built in 1734 by the butcher Franz Ferschel. The cleaver engraved in the lower part of the column reminds of a butcher who was attacked and killed by bulls at this location.
