The statue of Johannes Nepomuk in front of the house at Dorfstrasse 4 in Gerhaus was erected in the second half of the 19th century.

The Gerhaus Lady Chapel is dated to the middle of the 19th century. There are no written records of their creation. The bell in the tower reads: “Scheichel Wienn in the Leopoldstadt 1774” and “Gregorius Dischler Richter zu Gerhaus”.

The late Gothic wayside shrine, built in the early 16th century and renovated in 1992, has a tabernacle attachment that is open on both sides and houses a Pietà from the 18th century. The founder and the reason for its establishment are not known.

The parish church of Hollern, which basically dates back to the first half of the 13th century ( patronage : St. Helena ), a simple hall church with a mighty east tower , was first mentioned in a document in 1429 and changed to Baroque style towards the end of the 18th century. The choir dates from 1773. According to tradition, under the sacristy is the burial place of a noble family who once lived in the area.

About the wayside shrine, which is halfway north of the road that leads from Hollern to Schönabrunn, it says in the Hollern parish chronicle: “Just on the way to Schönabrunn there is a column made of ashlar in the Gothic style without an idea. Its donors are unknown. ”The number 1638 visible on the wayside shrine is interpreted as the year of construction, the text attached is no longer legible.

The fortification (earth wall with palisades and small forts) was built in 1703/04 and operated until the end of the 18th century. The wall was supposed to support the imperial troops of the Habsburgs in the fight against the Kuruzzen - rural rebels from Hungary in the wake of the uprising of Franz II. Rákóczi (1704–1711) - and to block the access from Hungary to Vienna.

Note: Part of object 130948f1 that spans several parishes.

Karl Leonhard von Harrach had the Haydn monument erected opposite the palace in 1794. In 1867 it was moved to the castle park and in 1951 to the town center. In 1951 it was moved to the center of the village.

The core of the Romanesque, Baroque-style hall church in the north of the village, surrounded by a cemetery with a stone wall. Nave Romanesque core, choir with Gothic ribbed vault from the 2nd half of the 14th century, mainly baroque furnishings. High, massive, imagined tower.

Outside the cemetery wall, a large baroque chapel with side pairs of pilasters and a curved gable. Inside there is a wood-carved crucifixion group.

The custom built in the 16th century sandstone - Pranger at the Joseph Haydn-Platz is the Steinmetz Anthony Tencalla attributed. The inscriptions on the base (“ Lower jurisdiction 1240–1848”) and on the pillory itself (“Rohrau Markt 1525”) were engraved in 1957.

One-storey three-sided courtyard under a thatched roof. Birthplace of the composers Joseph Haydn and Michael Haydn , built in 1728 by their father Mathias. Rebuilt in 1899 after fire, later modifications. Partly original equipment.

On the Stephanie-Harrach-Platz there is a stone pillar made in the first half of the 18th century with a cross (according to the inscription a “Liberation Monument”), in front of it a life-size statue of the Virgin Mary. The two monuments were moved to their current location in 1960. Before that they were at the Rohrauer Mühle.
