The church was rebuilt in 1689 after the previous Gothic building, first mentioned in a document in 1309, was destroyed by avalanches. The simple three-bay nave with hipped roof is joined by the slightly drawn-in choir, closing on three sides, and in the north by the tower with its gable-pointed helmet and painted corner blocks. Inside, the nave has a barrel vault with stitch caps on beveled wall pillars, the choir is set off by a belt arch . The ceiling paintings in medallions were created by Johann Endfelder in 1844 .
